Bajaj Discover 150 F,150 S launched at a price of Rs 59,034

Bajaj has just launched the new Discover 150 twins in Mumbai.These two new bikes will mark company’s re-entry into entry level 150 cc bike segment. Bajaj Discover 150 F is the first half faired bike in its segment, while 150 S is stripped down version of it which will come with standard Discover drapery. While the 150F is priced at Rs. 58,739 (ex-showroom, Pune), the Discover 150S costs Rs. 51,720 for the drum (brake) and 54,725 for disc (brake) variants.

Bajaj Discovery 150F is seen in attractive colours. It comes with design cues borrowed from the now discontinued Discover 125 ST. 150F will be seen with alloy wheels, front and rear mudguards and seat grab rail all from the 125 ST while it gets a raised handle bar and forward set foot pegs giving the bike an overall upright stance and a more comfortable ride.

The Discover 150S, meanwhile, is the naked version of the F150. While its looks are typical of the new Discover range of motorcycles, the exception here is the all-black theme used by Bajaj for this one. It shares its cycle parts with the aforementioned F150 and comes with a wider rear tyre. The 150S, though, will be available in two variants – one with a drum brake in the front and the other with a disc.

On the engine front, the new Discover F150 and 150S come with a new 150cc four-valve DTS-i motor which is expected to make around 14PS of power. Both the motorcycles will sport five-speed gearboxes.
