Panasonic Eluga U officially launched at Rs 18,990


Panasonic has officially announced its new flagship smartphone Eluga U in India.  The Eluga U is officially priced at Rs. 18,990 and it will start selling from tomorrow. The Eluga is the first smartphone from Panasonic in India to feature a Qualcomm processor. So far all its smartphones were powered by MediaTek chipsets.

The Eluga features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core CPU. It has 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory and support microSD cards.Panasonic Eluga U sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS OGS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The smartphone also features a 13-megapixel rear camera with auto focus and LED flash, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 2,500mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0, and on the software front it runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

It comes with Kwik Lock double tap on the home screen to lock the phone, Fit Home UI for single Hand operation, Pop i player, Music cafe and Gesture play.

The Eluga series of smartphones was first introduced by the company in 2012 before being discontinued. Panasonic had launched the Eluga DL1 and the Eluga Power for the European market.
