Yamaha announces Fazer FI 2.0 at Rs 83,850

Yamaha has announced the 2014 edition of Fazer in the form of Fazer FI 2.0. It will now retail at Rs, 83,850 ex-Delhi. It will be available in three new colours – Red Dawn, Black Hawk and White Cloud.

Yamaha Fazer FI 2.0 is using 149cc single cylinder engine which is also used in FZ-FI and FZ-S. The new engine is powered by Blue-Core Technology. Blue-core technology enhances the fuel efficiency of the motorcycle without compromising on the power.

Yamaha says the new fuel injected engine offers both performance and efficiency – with a class-leading acceleration with 14 per cent improvement in fuel economy, lightest weight in its class and changes to the chassis for a light and agile ride. The power developed by the engine will continue to be supplied to the rear wheel through the same 5-speed gearbox as before.

On the looks and design Fazer FI 2.0 have many changes in comparison of previous Fazer FI Bike.
It have redesigned fuel tank, side and rear body panels, fully digital control panels tail lamp, split pillion grab rails, pilot bulb on front fairing and rear tyre hugger.
