Lenovo launches S5000 tablet at Rs 10,999

Chinese company Lenovo has finally launched its latest affordable tablet - the S5000 available in India at the price of Rs. 10,999. Lenovo claims that S5000 claims is the India's slimmest and lightest tablet and it will be exclusively available on Amazon India in silver grey colour.

The tablet have a 7-inch display with 1280×800 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz MediaTek (MT8389) MTK quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM and 16GB of ROM and it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS.

In the camera front, the China based smartphone maker has used 5.0M AF rear shooter and a 1.6MP front-facing snapper for taking selfies. It have a 3,450mAh battery that is said to be good enough to last for more than eight hours. Connectivity options include 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and on the software front, it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
