Samsung Galaxy Alpha to launch on August 4 : Report
Samsung may unveil its next Galaxy Alpha smartphone (aka Galaxy S5 Prime and Galaxy F) on August 4, according to Sam Mobile, a blog with a strong track record when it comes to leaking Samsung product releases. Earlier, the device was to be launched on August 13, as reported by a Korean website.
Samsung working on Galaxy Alpha with metallic frames. Bearing the model number SM-G850, the Galaxy Alpha features 4.8-inch HD display with 1280x720 pixel resolution. Samsung has powered this smartphone with an octa-core Samsung Exynos 5433 Octa mobile chipset paired with 2 GB RAM. The mobile chipset features Mali-T628 GPU for graphics and certainly gets high scores with benchmark.
By default, the Galaxy Alpha will feature 32 GB on-board storage but will have no memory card slot. Samsung will load the phone with Android 4.4.4 KitKat and its own TouchWiz Essence UI . The smartphone also has a heart rate sensor. At the rear, it has a 12 megapixel camera with LED flash and in the front would be a 2.1 megapixel camera.
