LG Chromebase All-in-One PC in India at Rs 32,000

LG has announced the launch of its first Chrome OS device in the Indian market and it is not a Chromebook. The company has introduced its Chrome OS All-in-One (AiO) in the country, which carries the name Chromebase. Priced at INR 32,000, it will go on sale in the coming days.

Chromebase all-in-one computer is powered by the Google Chrome OS. The highly efficient Chrome operating system offers a fast, simple, secure and affordable computing experience to users. Complete with a 21.5-inch Full HD IPS display and a raft of advanced features, this innovative new desktop computer comes packaged in a chic, space-saving design.

LG says, the Chromebase all-in-one computer is underpinned by a simple architecture and comes with several Google applications. It also serves as a gateway to tens of thousands of web apps in the Chrome Web Store, many of which work just as well offline as they do online. The LG Chromebase allows users to write emails and documents, read the latest news and ebooks, edit videos and photos and play entertaining games.

“The specialty of this computer is that it represents a successful combination of simplicity, power and great design, and all types of users can operate it very easily. We are expecting its wide adoption not only at home, but especially in schools, hotels, call centers other business settings,” said Soon Kwon, managing director, LG Electronics India.

Chromebase AiO (Model 22CV241) is powered by a fourth generation Intel processor. The exact model number of the processor is not known. It is paired with 2GB RAM and houses a 16GB iSSD storage. Other features include 1.3MP HD front camera, HDMI-in, three USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 port and LAN port. Keyboard and mouse will be provided in the bundle.
