Samsung Galaxy Star 2 Plus launched with Android 4.4 KitKat at Rs. 7,335


The South Korean phone maker Samsung has officially launched Android 4.4 KitKat-based smartphone Samsung Galaxy Star 2 Plus in India. The device is now officially listed with 'Notify Me' option by the company on its online store carrying a price tag of Rs. 7,335. The latest smartphone will be available mainly in Black and White colour.

The Galaxy Star 2 Plus measures 129.7 x 65.9 x 9.4mm. It runs Android KitKat and is powered by a 1.2GHz Processor. The smartphone sports 4.3-inch display (800 x 480 Pixels) LCD capacitive touch screen display.

The Star 2 Plus has a 3MP rear camera with LED Flash. The smartphone features 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory, expandable with microSD. For connectivity, the Star 2 Plus supports 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v 4.0 and GPS. It is powered by an 1800 mAh battery.

Compared to the Galaxy Star 2, the Plus model comes with a bigger and higher-res screen, a processor that's clocked 20% higher, a higher-res camera, and a bigger battery.

In India users can buy this smartphone from Samsung E-Store.
