'Call Of Duty : Advanced Warfare' trailer reveals story details and animations

Activision and Sledgehammer Games have revealed a new story trailer for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Advanced Warfare looks to rekindle the magic. The first Call of Duty game from developer Sledgehammer Games, Advanced Warfare is also the first entry in the franchise developed in a new three-year development cycle.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare takes place in a plausible future in which technological progress and today’s military practices have converged with powerful consequences. In this carefully researched and crafted vision of the future, Private Military Corporations (PMCs) have become the dominant armed forces for countless nations outsourcing their military needs, redrawing borders and rewriting the rules of war. And Jonathan Irons (Kevin Spacey), the founder and president of the world’s largest PMC - Atlas Corporation - is at the center of it all.

After opening up with an Abraham Lincoln quote about testing someone's character by giving him or her power, a voice explains the details of "the first global terrorist attack in history." This sends the "world into chaos," and with the United States government and military "crippled," the country turns to a private military company, Atlas. This is the company run by Jonathan Irons, the character played by actor Kevin Spacey.

We see how Atlas is given a tremendous amount of power, resulting in Irons arguing that Atlas can take military action without the consent of Congress--which later in the trailer leads to the phrase "power changes everything."

This campaign story trailer ends with a little bit of multiplayer, in which somebody is doing fancy tricks with a jetpack or something.
