Users can avail this app on their iOS powered smartphones to receive automatic traffic based re-routing and real time journey updates on to Facebook timeline, while the app also offers offline 3D navigation and supports 3D and 2D landmarks.

NaviMaps also comes with Pro-guidance features that are available with purchase support. NaviMaps was launched two months ago on Google Play Store. Seeing overwhelming response, the company has now introduced this feature on Apple App Store to all Apple users in India.

This MapmyIndia app is compatible with Apple devices running iOS 5 or higher, and works even better with iPhone 5 series of handsets. Live traffic data is available for areas like Delhi, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Noida, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Kalyan, Thane, Pune and Bengaluru.

“We launched NaviMaps about two months back on the Google Play store. We now extend this offering to all Apple users in India who can now enjoy India’s best maps loaded with advanced features and offline functionality on NaviMaps,” said Rakesh Verma , Managing Director, MapmyIndia.

The free version of NaviMaps offers three alternate routes along with one pedestrian route, live traffic information, location and route sharing, single line predictive destination search and much more.
