Suzuki Let's scooter bookings open in India

Suzuki Motorcycles India has now opened pre-booking for its latest scooter in the market called 'Suzuki Let's'. The scooter was globally unveiled at the Delhi Auto Expo 2014 along side Suzuki Gixxer bike in January. Though the company hasn't revealed an official release date, the Suzuki Let's scooter has got a price in India tag of Rs. 47,000 (ex-showroom Mumbai). Interested parties can pre-book the scooter from their nearest Suzuki dealerships for Rs. 1,000.

The Let's scooter from Suzuki is powered by 110 cc, 4-stroke, air cooled, 1-cylinder SOHC 2 valve engine that generates about 8.7 Hp of power at 7,500 Rpm and 9.0 Nm of torque at 5500 Rpm. The engine has been mated to a CVT gearbox. Comfortable ride quality is ensured with telescopic fork suspension for the front, whereas the rear gets a monoshock. Tubeless tyres come as a standard offering in this scooter.

On the exterior front, the Let's scooter from Suzuki carries sharp yet sober appeal. The engine uses a new technology, SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance). The SEP technology will lead the engine to provide better fuel efficiency. This technology reduces the mechanical loss of engine in order to improve the mileage. The most parts of the scooter are made with the help of plastic in order to reduce the production cost. It will come with ordinary type instrument cluster.

The scooter is placed in straight line of competition with the Honda's topeseller Activa scooter.  Suzuki Let's shall be available in five interesting shades like – White, Silver, Red and Black.

Suzuki is likely to make the new Let’s Scooter available for sale in all dealerships across the country by the end of this May.
