iPhone 6 case leaked, next design will be curved

A purportedly leaked case that appears to be from a New Jersey-based company could be one of the first tangible pieces of evidence that the iPhone 6 will show us what an iPhone can look like all grown up. One 4.7-inch iPhone 6 case has been obtained by Unbox Therapy, which then used it to show how big the iPhone 6 would be compared to the iPhone 5s, the Nexus 5 Galaxy Note 3 and other popular phones.

According to the video, the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 would be about as big as the Nexus 5, which has a 5-inch display. The case also reveals some iPhone 6 design elements, including a different placement of the power button (on the rights side instead of the top), slimmer iPhone 5c-like volume rockers and a thinner profile.

The new iPhone could be one of the most pivotal devices in the Cupertino brand's history - with the the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C simple updates to previous models, there's a lot of pressure heaped on the iPhone 6.

According to a survey of 4109 US consumers the iPhone 6 is the most anticipated Apple smartphone ever, with interest easily outstripping that of the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5.

Some of you might have been expecting the iPhone 6 to have debuted in 2013, but given the iPhone's history - from the 3G onwards, there's always been a half-step S model before the next numbered iPhone - we were never going to get the 6 until 2014.
