Samsung galaxy A3 and A5 now available in India

Samsung India's online store has started selling the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 smartphones in the country. The Samsung Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 smartphones are being sold for Rs 20,500 and Rs 25,500 respectively.

Samsung Galaxy A3 and A5 smartphones are the slimmest smartphones made by the firm till date. The Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 smartphones with a metal body are 6.7mm and 6.9mm thick respectively.

The smartphone has flat sides as well as slim bezels. It is available in five color variants namely, Midnight Black, Soft Pink, Champagne Gold, Pearl White, Platinum Silver and Light Blue.

The Samsung Galaxy A3 has a 4.5-inch qHD Super AMOLED display with 540 x 960 pixel resolution. This takes the pixel density to 245ppi, which is considerably low.

The Galaxy A5 model comes with better specs: a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution and a pixel density that goes up to 294ppi.

The Galaxy A5 comes with a 13MP Auto Focus camera with LED Flash. It also gets a 5MP front-facing camera. On the other hand, the Galaxy A3 has a 8MP rear camera Auto Focus with LED Flash and 5MP front facing camera as seen on the Galaxy A5.

The Samsung Galaxy A5 has a 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB RAM. On the other hand, the Galaxy A3 also has a 1.2GHz quad-core processor but with 1GB RAM.

In terms of storage, both the smartphones have built-in 16GB storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD cards.

The Galaxy A3 has a 1,900 mAh battery and the Galaxy A5 supports a 2,300 mAh battery. Both devices get their signature Ultra Saving Mode.
