Sunny Leone tops Google India Search 2014, PM Modi next

The Google India top searches list for 2014 is out and Sunny Leone has pipped Prime Minister Narendra Modi to become the most searched personality in the country during the year.

Prime Minister Modi was the most searched politician this year, coming ahead of Bollywood biggies like Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.
 
This is for the first time a politician has gained more search popularity than entertainment celebrities, Google said.

Rajan Anandan, Managing Director, Google India, said the findings of Google’s Year in Search is a clear testimony of India’s growing interest in issues of national importance.
