Psy's 'Gangnam Style' video 'borke' YouTube view limit

South Korean rapper Psy' song "Gangnam Style" video broke the internet this week. The video has been viewed more than 2,147,483,647 times.

"We never thought a video would be watched in numbers greater than a 32-bit integer (=2,147,483,647 views), but that was before we met PSY," YouTube wrote in a blog post.

Now company is changing the maximum view limit to a 64-bit integer, giving it a theoretical maximum of 9,223,372,036,854,775,808, or more than nine quintillion.
