Google docs support office editing
With wide spread reach and high usability features Windows Office has always been more used among the office editors. Google has taken this into account and released a new update.
With this new update you can start editing Office files right from Gmail – a new edit icon on attachments is provided.
One have to first save the file to your Drive if he/she wanted to keep making changes to it, and the access is easier with the email containing the attachment, or Google Docs.
Google is also announcing support for 15 new Office file types, such as (pps, ppsx), templates, and more. Google notes the update brings improved support for charts, images and tables. This change has made things easierand has increased competition.
