Alcatel One Touch Flash selfie smartphone launched for Rs 9,999

TCL Communication-owned Alcatel OneTouch has launched a new Android smartphone in the Indian market. Dubbed as Alcatel OneTouch Flash, the new smartphone is being targeted to the selfie-lovers. The phone is priced at Rs 9,999. It will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting November 21.

The Alcatel OneTouch Flash has a 5-megapixel camera above the screen. The company claims the device has been completely designed in France. The OneTouch Flash was first unveiled in Thailand, and now it has been revealed in India.

As far as other specifications are concerned, the Alcatel One Touch Flash flaunts a 5.5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS display, and is powered by a 1.4GHz MediaTek octa-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone also features 8GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card, and a 3,200mAh battery. Connectivity options include 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and on the software front it runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

The company is also launching a Selfie Contest where top 20 daily contestants can win a discount of Rs 1000. The winner will get a full photo-shoot makeover which will appear in one of the most recognized lifestyle magazine.
