Oppo mobiles launches Diwali contest on Facebook


Oppo India has announced a Social Media Diwali contest that commenced on October 15 (yesterday) and allows users to win the Diwali Bonanza -home digitization products worth Rs 5 lakhs as the grand prize and 10 other lucky winners can take home OPPO N1 (worth Rs 32,990/-) exclusively signed by superstar and Oppo brand ambassador Hrithik Roshan.

"We want to offer our users an exciting chance to amplify their Diwali joy this year and I believe our fun and interactive Social Media Diwali contest is a small gesture in that direction," Tom Lu, CEO, OPPO Mobiles India said.

The consumers have to visit the OPPO Facebook page and provide relevant contest information application and require have to submit a video, audio or a text message to impress Ollie, OPPO's mascot with their innovative Diwali wish.

Home digitisation gifts will include a 55-inch Full HD LED, along with a double door 310 litre refrigerator, a 1.5ton 3 star-split AC, a fully automatic frontloading washing machine, a BluRay home theatre system, a gaming console, a microwave, a juicer mixer grinder, a trimmer and a steam iron to name a few. The others win the Oppo N1, the world's first smartphone with a 5.9" screen, a 206 degree rotating camera and a rear touch panel. The contest ends on 23 October.

Oppo had made its entry into the Indian market in early 2014 with its flagship device Oppo N1. The company has recently launched the OPPO Find 7 – world’s first quad HD smartphone that has been getting rave reviews in the country. Oppo has launched over 10 smartphones in India that cover the price range from Rs 8,000 to around Rs 38,000 this year.
