Moto 360 launched at Flipkart at Rs 17,999

Flipkart, India's biggest online store has started selling Motorola Moto 360 at a price of Rs 17,999. The smartwatch will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting from mid-day on Friday, Motorola said in a statement.

Flipkart holds the exclusive rights to sell Motorola smartphones. The smartwatch comes in a classic wristwatch design and will be compatible with most smartphones running on Android 4.3 and above operating system.

For supporting tracking activities, the smartwatch is fitted with a pedometer and optical heart rate monitor.  

The circular device comes with a Gorilla Glass 3 protected, 1.5 inch-screen that has a resolution of 320 x 290 pixels. A TI OMAP processor backed by 512 MB RAM powers the device running. It has a 320mAh battery cell. It comes with internal storage of 4GB.

The smartwatch also features wireless charging and weighs 49gram.

Motorola said that initially stock of the Moto 360 would be limited but more units would come in two weeks.
