Lenovo Yoga 2 and Yoga 2 Pro launched in India


Chinese electronics giant Lenovo has launched its next-generation Yoga Tablet 2 line in India with three Android tablets and a Windows tablet. Priced between Rs 20,990 to Rs 47,990, the range of four tablets will be available exclusively on Flipkart from October 17.

The 8-inch Android variant is priced at Rs. 20,990, while the 10-inch tablet costs Rs. 28,990. The Yoga Tablet 2 10-inch Windows version is priced at Rs. 34,990 and Yoga Tablet 2 Pro (13-inch, Android) at Rs. 47,990.

The new range comes with several new features. The tablets have excellent resolution with Full HD, Dolby Wolfson HiFi audio, 8MP rear and 1.6 HD front camera and all come powered with the 4th generation Intel Atom Processor Z3745 for an excellent performance.

The tablets feature a new Hang mode and improved kickstand that rotates nearly 180-degrees. The Hang mode lets users hang their device to display content.


Speaking on Lenovo’s plans for tablets, Rohit Midha, Director, Tablet Business Unit, Lenovo India, said, "We are aiming to achieve global sales to the tune of 100 million PC+ devices, including tablets this financial year."

"Owing to our increasing focus on digital millennials, India as a youth market forms a crucial part of our PC+ strategy. Our association with a leading online player like Flipkart will make it possible to expand our reach to the country’s online and tech-savvy audience," he added.
