Lenovo Smartband SW-B100 fitness tracker gets listed on official website

Lenovo has silently introduced a new smartband - the Lenovo Smartband SW-B100. The new wearable device is "for young people who take care of their personal health and are interested in new tech trend products," says the company.

The Lenovo Smartband SW-B100 comes in Blue and Orange colors, however, the company has not revealed the pricing of the upcoming wearable device.

The Lenovo Smartband SW-B100 was certified by the FCC just a couple of weeks ago. It is basically a health-oriented device or in today's term a fitness gadget. Thus, it can track your activities such as steps and distance, track your calories, sleep and even your heart rate. It is basically like the other fitness bands form company's like Sony, Samsung and other.

This smartband tends to offer most features that we have seen in smartbands in the past such as the Sony Smartband SWR10 and the Samsung Galaxy Gear Fit. Unlike the Sony Smartband, the Lenovo Smartband SW-B100 will come with a small display.

The Smartband SW-B100 will track information sharing besides showing missed calls, text messages and calendar appointments of your smartphone.

The device will require Android 4.3 for pairing up with Android smartphones. Similarly, it requires Apple iPhone devices with iOS 7.1 for compatibility.
