BMW to launch M3 and M4 on November 26

On November 26, the German car manufacturer BMW will launch two new sportscars in India. These cars will be M3 sedan and M4 coupe. Till its previous generation, there was no M4 and M3 monkier used on both sedan and coupe body styles of M-Division’s performance version of the 3-series sedan. Both the M3 and M4 sportscars are targeted towards those people who love to drive themselves rather than being chauffeured in rear seat.

In cars there are a 3.0 liter 6 cylinder turbocharged petrol engine under the hood that pumps out 437 peak power and 550 Nm of torque through a 7-speed dual transmission. These cars can cross 0 to 100 km/h speed in 4.3 seconds and had a highest speed of 250 km/h.

Both M3 and M4 cars are made by a carbon fiber technology to to minimize the overall weight. Both the cars are properly equipped with electronics such as Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Stability Clutch Control (SSC), three driving modes (Comfort, Sport and Sport Plus) and launch control function with paddle shifters, to fit the typical BMW tag of ‘sheer driving pleasure’. The interiors of both the cars mirror that of the 3-series, save for few changes to dashboard trim and steering wheel. BMW will be bringing both the M3 and M4 as Completely Built Units (CBU), which may result in their ex-showroom price of around Rs. 1-1.1 Crore onwards.
