Intex Aqua 4X budget smartphone launched at Rs 2,999

Intex on Thursday launched the Aqua 4X smartphone, priced at Rs. 2,999, which will be exclusively sold via ecommerce site eBay.

Intex Aqua 4X features a 4-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen with a 800 x 480 pixel resolution display and a 1.0 GHz Dual Core Processor. Priced at just Rs. 2999, company claims that this is the cheapest phone in India that offers Android Jelly Bean OS with a screen sized as big as 4-inches.

Equipped with two cameras, a 2.0 megapixel rear one and a VGA front camera, the Intex Aqua 4X features auto-capture mode, but no flash.

The phone fits a 1300 mAh battery which promises to give 3-4 hours of talktime and 180 hours of standby time. The phone has an internal memory of 512 mb which could be expanded up to 32 Gb via a microSD card.

For connectivity, Intex Aqua 4X supports two SIM cards (GSM+GSM) with 3G support, along with it, the phone also features Bluetooth, WiFi HotSpot, and AGPS which ensures full connectivity. There is no colour choice as of now; it’s available only on Black shade.
