Apple iPhone6 'video' leaked

A video published to YouTube on Monday by Russia-based YouTube user Rozetked claims to show the new iPhone 6. Unlike some other leaked images and videos that have surfaced on the Web, this one (watch below) shows what appears to be a fully assembled iPhone 6 next to a current iPhone 5S.

The video's accuracy cannot be confirmed but it's arguably the best video so far showing the rumored iPhone 6.

The video compares the iPhone6 with the iPhone5 and offers detail about new features, including Apple’s decision to move its power button from the top of the phone to the side and its FaceTime camera. A side-to-side comparison of the phones shows that when it comes to the iPhone6, size does matter.

In video, the body represents a stark departure from the iPhone 5 and 5s, which has a chassis with squarer edges. In addition, the home button is much closer to the bottom of the design. The iPhone 6 is noticeably larger than the iPhone5 in both height and width of screen though it is much slender than its predecessor. The video claims the iPhone 6 is made from liquid metal making it difficult to scratch and longer lasting.

Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 6 at an event scheduled for September 9th at the Flint Center for the Performing Arts in Cupertino, California. While it most certainly is an iPhone event, it is not known whether the company will announce both the 4.7-inch and the 5.5-inch models at this time.

If Apple introduces the 5.5-inch model on September 9th, the company may stagger the retail sales of the two phones, offering the 4.7-inch model sometime in September and waiting to ship the 5.5-inch version until the end of the year due to production issues.
