Sony Xperia C3 Dual selfie smartphone launched for Rs 23,990

For those who love to take selfies, there is now a camera in the Indian market built especially for that purpose. Say hello to the Sony Xperia C3, the ultimate selfie machine. Sony Xperia C3 arrives in Black, White and Mint colours and is priced at Rs 23,990.

"Xperia C3 is a unique new smartphone from Sony, created to offer the ultimate social sharing experience with a new powerful 'PROselfie cam'," Sony said in a statement.

The smartphone have an 8 MP camera with an LED flash on the back and a capable 5 MP camera with LED flash on the front as well. Sony Xperia C3 is powered by a quad-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 mobile chipset and 1 GB RAM. The Xperia C3 loaded with 8 GB on-board storage apart from a memory card slot for additional memory. The smartphone has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with 720p (HD) resolution. Android 4.4 KitKat is the OS that’s powering it from within, while keeping it going between recharges at the wall outlet is a 2500mAh battery.

As we stated above, Xperia C3 has a 5 megapixel front camera with LED flash and the camera is capable of recording HD quality videos. This front facing camera can be used along with the new camera software to capture and enhance the self portraits. Sony has added several features in the camera app as well including Superior Auto mode that offers four different scenes for front camera and up to 36 scenes for the rear camera.

Xperia C3 will be available from September 1, 2014 at all Sony centre, Sony Smartphone Lounge and major mobiles and electronics stores across India.
