Nokia Lumia 530 available for pre-orders in India

Microsoft announced the Lumia 530 last month and had revealed that the smartphone will be available from August onwards. Almost on cue, the affordable Lumia smartphone is now available for pre-orders on Snapdeal ahead of a launch in the third week of August. There is no word on the pricing of the Lumia 530, but the company did mention that its price tag won’t exceed €100 or Rs 8,000 approximately.

The Nokia Lumia 530 hosts a 4” LCD display with 854×480 pixel resolution. The handset is powered with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset with 1.2GHz Cortex A7 CPU and offers an Adreno 302 GPU for graphics.

Its memory options include 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot for expandable memory. The Lumia 530 runs the latest Windows Phone 8.1 and comes pre-loaded with Nokia Drive+ for navigation.

The handset comes loaded with a fixed-focus 5MP primary camera which can record videos with 854×480 pixel resolution. The battery capacity of the smartphone is 1430mAh.
