Hyundai Grand i10 launches LPG 1.0 Litre in India

After the success of Grand i10 in the country, Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) has launched a new LPG variant of Grand i10 with a price tag of ₹4,96,034 (ex-showroom Delhi). Available only in the Magna trim, the Grand i10 LPG gets all the features offered on the regular Manga trim.

In terms of the LPG variant's tech specs, the 1.2-litre petrol mill has been replaced by the smaller 1.0-litre petrol unit of the i10. Powered by 998cc Kappa petrol engine which can churn out a power of 68 bhp and peak torque of 94 Nm at 3,500 rpm, the new variant of Grand i10 promises a return of 20.3 kmpl. This also flaunts premium features like smart key, push button start/stop, a double DIN audio system with 1GB internal memory, Bluetooth connectivity, Aux-in and USB connectivity, steering mounted audio controls, A/C vent for rear passengers, rear parking sensors, glove box cooling and electric ORVMs.

In other news, Hyundai recently set a record by delivering 1 lakh units of the Grand i10 hatchback within 10 months of the car's launch - the fastest any car in India has managed to achieve that figure yet. The car had previously achieved a milestone in the automotive industry by becoming one of the five highest selling models in India within the second month of its launch.
