Macro Polo helps you locate your misplaced iPhone

Do you often misplace your phone? Now you just have to yell, and your device will yell back at you! There is now a new app in the market that will help you locate your missing smartphone. It does so by allowing you device to respond when you shout, which will then give you clues to its location. When one uses the Marco Polo app, they will be able to pinpoint the location by shouting ‘Marco’, to which the app will respond with ‘Polo’.

Matt Wiechec, a designer and developer based in Toronto has created the app that can be customized with 30 different voice options and even the input phrase can be tailored according to personal interests, CNet reported.

Wiechec said that we now have a fun way to find our phones that we keep losing to the sofa cushions or in the bathroom by just hollering loud for example if a person says 'Marco', it will respond back 'Polo', leading you to the location of the device.

The Marco Polo app is available worldwide at the iTunes Store for 99 cents (69 pence, AU$1.29).
