Wickedleak Wammy Passion X Launched with Octa Core Processor at Rs. 22,500

WickedLeak has launched a new smartphone – Wammy Passion X. It will be available in Indian market for Rs. 22,500. It is the world’s first true hydrophobic smartphone. Apparently, the device can resist not only water, but any other water-based liquid including orange juice, coffee or coke.

The phone uses AquaProtect Technology, a specialised process that applies a liquid repellent substance inside and outside the phone. This, the company claims, gives it a sustenance power of more than 30mins in water and any water based liquid.

The Wammy Passion X 13MP rear camera with flashlight and auto focus, up to 4096 x 3072 pixels resolution and support 1080P video record. It has a 5.0MP front camera.For connectivity, the smartphone supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB. It comes with a 2,000 mAh battery.

It is powered by a MediaTek (MTK6592) processor clocked at 1.7GHz. It comes with a healthy 2GB of RAM and includes 16GB of inbuilt storage, along with support for microSD cards (up to 64GB). It runs Android 4.2 out-of-the-box, but there’s no word on any OS updates for this phone. The Passion X is a dual-SIM (GSM-GSM) phone with dual standby support.
