Huawei Ascend G610, Ascend G700, Ascend Y320 and Ascend Y511 launched in India

Huawei has announced the launch of four new devices in India Ascend G700, Ascend G610, Ascend Y511, Ascend Y320. These mid-range devices are available on e-commerce sites in the country with prices starting from Rs 6,499 onwards.

Victor Shanxin, President, Huawei Devices India, says, "At Huawei, we are building a broad portfolio of products catering to the varied taste of consumers. We understand that India is a unique market wherein some consumers are price sensitive while others demand for quality and style in their mobile phones and our four different series of products reiterates our focus on providing smart devices at a smart pricing in India across different segments. Our four newly launched devices; two in the Y series and two in the G series will help us to reach a wide range of consumers in India."

Huawei Ascend G610

The Ascend G610 features a 5-inch QHD (960×540 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz Cortex A7 quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It also includes 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera, 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded to up to 32GB using a microSD card and a 2,150mAh battery.

Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and on the software front, it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.  

Huawei Ascend G700

The Huawei Ascend G700 on the other hand, runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Huawei's Emotion UI on top. It is also a dual-SIM device with support for GSM+GSM. The smartphone comes with 5-inch IPS display with a 720x1280 pixel resolution. 

It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and has 2GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB inbuilt storage and can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. It bears an 8-megapixel rear camera accompanied by an LED flash and also houses a 1.3-megapixel front camera. The Ascend G700 is powered by a 2150mAh battery.

Huawei Ascend Y320

The Huawei Ascend Y320 has a 4-inch touch-screen display and a screen resolution of 800x480 pixels. The Y320 is powered by a dual core 1.3Ghz processor. The Y320 is backed by a 1350mAh battery and comes with a 2MP rear camera. The Huawei Ascend Y320 is priced at Rs 6,499. 

Huawei Ascend Y511

The Ascend Y511 too sports similar specifications with the exception of a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854×480 pixels) display, 3-megapixel rear camera, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 1,730mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough for 300 minutes of talktime and 300 hours on standby mode. It is priced at Rs 7,499.

The Phones will be available at E-Commerce sites like infibeam, flipkart, Snapdeal etc.
