Now Google Glass users can take a picture with just a wink
Google Glass is on a roll. Not only are invites rolling out like a tidal wave threatening to overtake email inboxes, but Google has released a series of regular updates that enhance the product with more features. This week Google introduced a wink function that allows users to blink an eye in order to snap a picture, which was part of a major update detailed on Google+.
Users of Google Glass can now take pictures just by winking, which is expected to make it easier to snap photos. “Glass is about helping you look up and experience the world around you without getting bogged down by technology. Based on this philosophy, we’ve got a new setting that lets you quickly and easily capture the moments you care about with a simple wink of the eye,” it says on the Google+ page.
Google has added hangouts to the Glass system, and users can enable this, again, through the settings. It has also improved video uploads, and tapping on a video you have recorded will display an upload to Youtube option.
Google also gave out some information about an iPhone app, saying that iOS software is ready. It added that it will release download information about the app "later this week".
