Bluetooth 4.2 comes with better speed, IPv6 and privacy features

Bluetooth Special Interest Group on Wednesday has announced a new Bluetooth standard connectivity called version 4.2 having faster transfer speed new privacy features, optimised wireless technology for Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystems, and more improvements over the predecessor
Bluetooth 4.1 released over a year earlier.

This will increase the speed by 2.5 times, reduce the number of errors occurred and battery consumed in sharing data.

Mark Powell, executive director of the Bluetooth SIG stated "Bluetooth Smart is the only technology that can scale with the market, provide developers the flexibility to innovate, and be the foundation for the IoT”

The all new privacy feature is an important one it protect users from being tracked through their Bluetooth gadget without user’s permission.
