Xiaomi Redmi Note to be relaunched in India next month

Xiaomi will start selling the Redmi Note on December 2. Xiaomi has already started creating buzz before the launch of its phablet, the Xiaomi Redmi Note in India .

The Chinese giant on Thursday kicked off a contest on Facebook for Indian customers where they write, "Want to win a Redmi Note?" The Facebook post asks its fans to share the post, tag a friend and submit an image, which can be a click or a design drawing by the user.

"Want to win a Redmi Note? Share this & submit a picture (A click or a design/drawing by you) which shows how much you want to own a Redmi Note in the comment box below. The most creative image wins."

Hugo Barra, head of Xiaomi found stating earlier this month that the company plans to launch the phablet in India 'soon'.

The Redmi Note, the company had revealed it would be priced at Rs 9,999 and may come down Rs 1000 at its launch. The larger Redmi Note has a 5.5-inch 720p IPS display. It boasts of 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor, that we have seen on the HTC Desire 616 and Micromax Canvas Knight. It features a healthy 2GB of RAM, making it one of the cheapest smarpthone with such an high amount of RAM.

Other specs include 8GB onboard storage, microSD card slot up to 32GB, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front shooter for selfies and 3100mAh battery. It runs Xiaomi’s MIUI OS.
